Rainbow Programs

We are excited to announce our newest preschool program, Tiny Tumblers!

This class is designed specifically for our youngest students and allows them to explore gymnastics in a safe, stimulating and playful environment. Enhance your child’s coordination, motor skills and cognitive development while encouraging movement and having fun.

TINY TUMBLERS

  • Age: 18 months to 3 years

  • 30 minutes in duration

  • Preschool size equipment

  • Requisites:

    • Walking

    • Parental participation and guidance required

    • Ability to smile :) learn and have fun!

TUMBLING TOTS

  • Age: 18 months to 3 years

  • 50 minutes in duration

  • Preschool size equipment

  • Requisites:

    • Walking

    • Parental participation and guidance required

    • Ability to smile :) learn and have fun!

RAINBOW KIDS

  • Age: 3 to 4 years

  • 50 minutes in duration

  • Preschool size equipment

  • Requisites:

    • Autonomy from parent

    • Listening skills to respond and follow auditory directions

    • Cooperation with others

    • Ability to smile :) learn and have fun!

GYM KIDS

  • Age: 4 to 6 years

  • 60 minutes in duration

  • Uses a combination of preschool and full sized equipment

  • Requisites:

    • Willingness to stretch

    • Willingness to practice on full size equipment

    • Ability to smile :) learn and have fun!

NOVICE LEVEL 1

  • School Age 5 to 16 years

  • 60 minutes in duration 

  • Use of full sized equipment

  • Beginner level skills on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor

  • Requisites:

    • Willingness to stretch and follow instruction

    • Willingness to try new skills

    • Ability to smile :) learn and have fun!

NOVICE LEVEL 2

  • School Age: 5 to 16 years

  • 60 minutes in duration

  • *Recommendation/prior experience necessary

  • Use of full sized equipment

  • Mastery of Level 1 skills

  • Requisites:

    • Independence on full size equipment.

    • Experience with Beginner level skills on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor

    • Proper hurdle straight jump on vault

    • Pull over and forward roll on bars (with or with out spot)

    • Basic walks on beam (forward, backwards, step kicks, etc.)

    • Rolls, broken leg kick, cartwheel on floor and bridge

    • Ability to understand corrections

    • Ability to stretch

    • Ability to smile :) learn and have fun!

novice level 2

NOVICE LEVEL 3

  • School Age: 7 to 16 years

  • 60 minutes in duration

  • *Recommendation/prior experience necessary

  • Use of full sized equipment

  • Mastery of Level 2 skills

  • Requisites: 
    o Independence on full size equipment.
    o Experience with Beginner level skills on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor
    o Handstand flatback on vault
    o Pull over and back hip circle bars (with or without spot)
    o Advanced walks on beam (walks in releve, kicks, jumps etc.)
    o Handstand, cartwheel and back bend kick over
    o Ability to understand corrections
    o Ability to stretch
    o Ability to smile :) learn and have fun!

INTERMEDIATE

  • School Age: 5 to 16 years

  • 90 minutes in duration

  • *Recommendation only

  • Intermediate level skills on Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor

  • Requisites:

    • Mastery of Novice level skills

    • Handstand flatback on vault

    • Chin up pull over and back hip circle on bars

    • Broken leg kick and round off dismounts on beam

    • Handstand, cartwheel and back bend kick over on floor

    • Understanding of skill set progression

    • Ability to implement corrections and attention to technique

    • Ability to stretch and condition

    • Ability to smile :) learn and have fun!

ADVANCED

  • Age: 5 to 16 years

  • 90 minutes in duration

  • *Recommendation only

  • Advanced level skills on Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor

  • Requisites:

    • Mastery of Intermediate skills

    • Front handspring over vault table

    • Front hip circle, jump to high bar, and sole circle dismount

    • Cartwheel on beam and flipping dismount

    • Front and back walkovers, front handspring, round off back handspring on floor

    • Understanding of skill set progression

    • Ability to implement corrections and attention to technique

    • Ability to stretch and condition

    • Ability to smile :) learn and have fun!

Advanced

TUMBLING

  • Age: 5 to 16 years

  • 60 minutes in duration

  • Novice: Basic tumbling skills on Floor and Trampoline

  • Intermediate: Back handspring required
