What is your tuition policy? How do I make payments? There is a no return policy on any tuition that is paid to Rainbow Gymnastics. Tuition is billed at a flat monthly rate. In the event a class meets less than 3 times in a month due to prescheduled closings (for weather or emergency closing policies see below) or mid month enrollment, your bill will be pro-rated. All billing is sent electronically to the e-mail address you provided. Unpaid tuition fees will be charged a $10 late fee after the 16th of the month. Unpaid tuition fees will be charged to your on-file credit card or bank account (2) business days after the due date. Any changes to automatic payment methods must be completed (5) days prior to the payment due date via your customer portal. Failure to pay within (30) days of the due date will result in the child being removed from the class. Outstanding accounts beyond (30) days will be turned over to a private collection service and the customer will be held responsible for all additional collection costs. Returned checks will result in an automatic $30 fee to the customer’s account. Declined credit cards transactions will incur a $10 fee. For your payment convenience, we accept visa, mastercard, debit cards and discover cards as well as checks and cash. You have the option to pay at the front desk, your personal online portal or the payment drop box located near the front desk. Please do not drop cash in the drop box. Please write your childs name and phone number on your check.

What should my child wear to class?A one piece leotard is preferred for girls. Shorts or sweat pants and t-shirts may be worn for boys and girls as long as they are not baggy or covering the feet and present a danger spotting the child. Girls hair should be tied back (ie. ponytail, braids etc). No jewelry is allowed to be worn. All children must have bare feet while in class.

What days are you closed? We are closed on Sundays. Holiday or prescheduled closing: please refer to Events section of the website for dates. Weather related or unscheduled closings: Rainbow Gymnastics does not follow any school closing decisions. We will provide an announcement on the answering machine and website prior to the day’s classes if the facility is going to be closed. If your class is cancelled due to our facility closing, you will be afforded (1) make–up class during one of our supervised workouts/preschool gym sessions. You have up to (60) days to schedule this make-up session via the events calendar. To avoid phone congestion please try to utilize our website for updates regarding weather.
-
What if my child is sick and misses a class?Regular class attendance is suggested to maintain continued development in gymnastics. Children should not be brought to gymnastics if they are contagious or the effects of their illness could make participation unsafe. Medical situations supported by written documentation from a licensed medical practitioner will afford you the opportunity to schedule (1) make-up class per month during one of our open workouts/ or preschool gym sessions to be used within (30) days. Rainbow will only credit (1) month for a prolonged illness/injury and then remove the child from their designated class. Make-up classes can only be scheduled via the events calendar of our website during one of our supervised workout sessions (Fri 6-7pm or Sat 1-2pm) for gym kids-advanced classes or during our preschool gym (Wed at 12pm and one Saturday per month. Please see Events Calendar for specific Saturday dates.) for our Tumbling Tots and Rainbow Kids. Makeup classes are only valid for active students and surrendered at time of drop.

What is Rainbows withdrawal policy?Rainbow maintains a 12 month schedule. If you are planning to leave for any reason, you must notify the office 15 days prior to the beginning of the upcoming month. Failure to notify Rainbow Gymnastics will result in being held responsible for the upcoming months bill. Rainbow cannot guarantee withdrawals unless they are submitted at the office. Reminder: once registration is paid for the year, you may re-enroll the child in an available class without paying another registration fee within the given registration year.

Is there a visitor/parent policy?Visitors and spectators are welcome to observe class from our lobby area. Please do not talk or wave to your child while they are in class. Interruptions could cause serious injury to your child or another child. For safety reasons, no flash photography is allowed. Under no circumstances are children or parents who are not participating in class allowed on the gym floor. If you need to speak with an instructor, please do so at the end of your child’s class. Our instructors are always happy to answer any questions you may have but please keep in mind they may have other children waiting for them.
-
What are the policies regarding students before/after class and during class?Classes start and end on time. Do not drop off a student more than 15 minutes early for class unless prior arrangements have been made with the office. Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late for class will not be allowed to participate for the class. Proper stretching is a must before starting practice. It is difficult to pull another coach away from class to stretch the child who arrived late. Please pick your child up on time at the end of class. Rainbow recommends you stay on premises while your child is in class. However if you must leave, please notify the office or coach. Students are expected to follow the gym rules and listen to their coach. Coaches give corrections to students to enhance their abilities and to ensure safety of the student and others around them. Students who are continually disruptive in class will be removed from the class for the day. Our motto: Safety First!!
